Position: Advertising Account Manager – Full Time

Department: Sales and Marketing

The Advertising Account Manager sells advertising campaigns on our company’s two radio stations (WLQM-FM / WJZU-AM), website, social media platforms and associated sponsorships. This is accomplished by customer-facing meetings with local small business owners and managers, presenting custom advertising campaigns designed to drive more customers to their business and build/reinforce their brand. The Advertising Account Manager serves as the advertising customer’s primary point of contact, providing timely and knowledgeable service, answering questions, resolving problems, collecting payments, and proposing new advertising plans. You will also understand and be able to analyze client sales data, market/station demographic information and prepare various reports and presentations. COMPENSATION

  1. Base salary + robust incentives program. Starting salary based upon qualifications and experience. Potential exists to earn $50,000 – $60,000+ annually 
  2. New Business Development incentives

Position: STREET TEAM MEMBER – PART TIME

Department: Marketing & Promotions

Real Country 101.7 is seeking individuals to serve as brand ambassadors on our Street Team. In this role you will the public face of the radio station and assist with on-site station appearances.This is a perfect opportunity for high school or college age students looking for part time work or for teachers who would like to earn extra income during their summer off.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pack/unpack station vehicle, drive station vehicle to and from events
  • Setup/Breakdown station equipment at events (tent/tables, promotional items, etc.)
  • Interacts with public or advertising customers during events (spin prize wheel, award prizes, work crowds, assist on-air personalities)
  • Take photos and videos of event and post to station social media during event
  • Show leadership and be an awesome team player that works well with others
  • Have an extremely outgoing personality
  • Ability to lift 35lbs.
  • Must be able to work weeknights and weekends
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record

 

COMPENSATION: $100 per event
